We'll work it Hooter. As my HS Junior son has seen nothing but horrible football in his entire life, I cannot deny him this game.
So it's going to be a one day trip between us three. we can handle the trip.

Most of us can't read or write, so good luck with that.

Dare I say....Rowdy Revival?

Hey everyone! I couldn't remember the login info for the RosenbergsRowdies account...so I created a new account.

Myself and another OG Rowdy purchased tickets to go mowing today. We're very stoked! Currently going through the ole' Rolodex to see who else is going from our Rowdy days.

It would be great to connect with other folks heading up to the game and planning to tailgate. I haven't seen any announcements from FIU/Alum Association in regards to the tailgate...but none-the-who....

As a Tampa Bay area resident... this game at Tropicana Field is HUGE for us since we're big Rays/FIU fans. Safe to say- we've had our fair share of tailgates and modest debauchery at the Trop and Downtown St.Pete. Feel free to reach out! It would be great to work together to get a "tailgate row" set-up.

Welcome back! Everyone excited we finally have a winning team again and going bowling. Should be a fun experience again, hoping we get a W this time around at the Trop.

Go Panthers!

I will be there +1. FIU Athletics and the Alumni Association have travel packages through Panorama Travel. We will be going on the Bus from FIU that will come back after the game. It also includes the tailgate.

Those packages are incredibly reasonable, imo. That may be the way to go for me. Probably cost effective and I can sleep on the drive home.

La mayoría de nosotros no podemos leer ni escribir, así que buena suerte con eso.

Hmmm...

So it looks like FIU is renting out space at Ferg's instead of an area in the Trop parking lot. Ferg's is a pretty cool spot- fun fact they were shut down last year for health inspection violations- not like some violations would ever stop FIU football ayyyoooooo

Have to weigh the options of paying $40 each for 4 hours of provided "tailgate" versus just putting $40 towards beer, ice, etc...

BTW the $278 VIP package is an absolute steal.

My wife and I, plus at least 2 others, will be attending. I know of a few people flying down from DC for the game as well.

Turns out the free student ticket for attending UMass game includes the bus trip/tailgate/boxed lunch/snack/gift/drink tickets.
What a deal. Unfortunately I think only about 19 students qualified.
