Only three games separate the top position and us. Really hope we win the FAU series

15 games leftplus the CUSA Tourney and standing 25-16.

This week will go along way for post season play.

Finish 10-5 and a strong showing in CuSA Tourney may be enough. But we have a low RPI, no Bueno.

RPI is up to 80. It was in the 140s just a few weeks ago. The series against the Hooters is vital this weekend. Would be great to win the series. Absolutely can't get swept.

I agree. A very big week ahead. Beginning with UM. Winning against Miami will not do much for our RPI, but its big emotionally to beat down on the Canes. Bragging rights are sweet.

Beating FAU is essential for our RPI and especially conference standings. This team can really do well when we are firing on all cylinders and at our best.

Go Panthers!

UM had bases loaded in the 6th with one out and FIU gets out of the jam... nice!

The disappointing thing about the loss is the mental errors seem to be creeping back in, even right now, we are trailing and the RF just dropped an easy out. No bueno.

I can't stand beating ourselves, which is what happened last night and looks like it's happening again tonight.

Base running error on a wild pitch prevents us from tying the game. These things add up and were my biggest pet peeve of Turtle's team.

Canes gift us the tying run, now 4-4 top of the ninth with Escarra at bat, Lopez on 2nd and 2 out.

Escarra RBI single off the Canes closer gives FIU the lead.

With the walk to Sorria, the punk cane closer is done for the night after allowing the tying and potentially winning run to score. Wonder how much trash talking he'll do tonight?
