Parkview Housing phase 2 may be approved and going up near the stadium tailgate lots. Looks like its taking place of the proposed Honors housing.

In the master plan (http://facilities.fiu.edu/Documents/Pla ... 0_2020.pdf), it looks like they are going to build housing in front of both stadium parking lots. Hope they don't screw the honors college students. This is something that has been talked about and promised for years.

From what I read, the relocation was necessary due to the practice fields being built. I don't understand what this means for the Honors College though:

After talking to some friends, it seems like the Honor college asked all of their students if they would live on campus, and a large majority said no, so they probably scrapped those plans.

http://facilities.fiu.edu/Documents/Pla ... _DRAFT.pdf on the new predicted campus map, looks like they dropped the plans to add more Greek housing. Would have been right by the nature preserve.
