It's been a rough couple of years for Miami FC since the NASL was de-sanctioned as a Division II league, but the club has landed in a new up-start professional league--the National Independent Soccer Association (NISA)-- starting this fall.

Their last home game this fall on Oct. 26 vs. the Oakland Roots (another exciting new soccer club starting out west) will be a return to FIU and Riccardo Silva Stadium. Hoping the FIU faithful will turn out and support pro soccer returning to campus! A good crowd will hopefully make a strong case for more games in the spring and beyond:

THE MIAMI FC JOINS NISA FOR START OF LEAGUE PLAY THIS FALL

The Miami Football Club, Miami’s most successful professional soccer team ever, fresh off the back of winning another National Championship, announced today that it will participate in the National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) when the sanctioned professional league launches this coming September.

NISA recently announced that it will field professional clubs in Atlanta (GA), Baton Rouge (LA), Charlotte (NC), Orange County (CA), Los Angeles (CA), Connecticut, Philadelphia (PA), Providence (RI), San Diego (CA) and Miami (FL). The league released a fall 2019 schedule, with a full season which mirrors the international soccer calendar and runs through the spring each year.

Addressing the concerns over The Miami FC joining its third league in such a short span, Flynn added: “Our fans, supporters and corporate partners are fully aware of the challenges we’ve faced since the NASL was de-sanctioned, and I want to personally thank everyone for sticking with us. The constant throughout all of this change has been our commitment to winning championships and being an exemplary community partner, no matter which league we are in."

The Miami FC’s inaugural NISA match is set for Sunday, September 14 at 7 p.m. at Barry University when the Philadelphia Fury makes its first trip to Miami. The highlight of the Fall Season schedule is the much-anticipated return to Riccardo Silva Stadium, Saturday October 26 at 7 p.m. against Oakland Roots.

Tickets for the NISA Fall Season are on sale now! Individual games are $10 per match, with Season Membership at just $5 per match! Kids 12 and Under still get in FREE! Don’t miss a single second of NISA action and Click Here or Call 844-MIAMIFC to lock in your Membership!
