In 2020 that is. Still, where is the return game?

Not ususally the guy to say this but if we want to be a too 25 team or even sniff what UCF accomplished this season we cannot be using one of our 4 out of conference games to play “Liberty”.

What happened to scheduling home and home with the likes of Pitt, Duke, Maryland and Louisville???

I want more of that and less of FCS quality team, specially now that we are looking like we’ll be able to compete with them again.

From what I see now, FIU has three OOC games scheduled for 2020: @ UMass, @ Liberty, but is scheduled to host Miami. The remaining game will likely be a home FCS game if I had to guess. It's not an ideal OOC schedule, but the home game against Miami will give us a shot at a top 25 claim, if we're to the point of actually being in contention for that.

Agree with you, Building a Dynasty. Two FBS (as pike Danny noted, Liberty will be FBS by then), UM as a home game and needing another home game, which very likely is another FCS team that we should win. I guess the return game against Liberty would be at home in 2019 or 2022?

Their 2019 schedule is already set. As is their 2020 and 2021. I'm guessing it's 2022.

FYI ODU got paid 1.3 million to play them. Liberty buys home games they dont have a reputation but they have deep pockets.

For all we know they'll be studs by 2020. Liberty was pretty good in FCS.
